Privacy Policy

1. Introduction

Vaultly ("the App") is a personal finance tracker for iOS developed by Amandeep Singh Chhatwal ("Developer", "we", "us"). Your privacy is fundamental to how Vaultly is built. This policy explains what data the App handles and how.

2. Data We Collect

None. Vaultly does not collect any personal data, financial data, analytics, usage metrics, or device identifiers. We have no servers, no databases, and no backend infrastructure.

3. Data Storage

All data you enter into Vaultly — accounts, transactions, budgets, goals, insurance records, and settings — is stored exclusively on your device using Apple's SwiftData framework.

• Data is saved to your device's local storage only.
• No data is transmitted to the Developer or any third party.
• Deleting the App permanently removes all locally stored data.

4. iCloud Sync

If you are a Vaultly Pro subscriber, your data may sync across your Apple devices via Apple's CloudKit service. In this case:

• Data is stored in your personal iCloud account, managed entirely by Apple.
• The Developer has no access to your iCloud data.
• iCloud sync is governed by Apple's Privacy Policy.
• You can disable iCloud for Vaultly in your device's Settings → [Your Name] → iCloud.

5. Third-Party Services

Vaultly does not integrate any third-party analytics, advertising, crash reporting, or tracking SDKs. The only external service used is:

• Apple StoreKit — for processing in-app subscriptions. Purchase transactions are handled entirely by Apple. We do not receive or store your payment information.

6. Bank & Financial Institution Access

Vaultly does not connect to any bank, financial institution, or payment provider. All financial data is entered manually by you. We never ask for bank credentials, API keys, or account access tokens.

7. Children's Privacy

Vaultly is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect any information from children. Since the App collects no data at all, there is no risk of inadvertent collection.

8. Data Security

Your data is protected by your device's built-in security features:

• Device passcode, Face ID, or Touch ID protects access to the App.
• Vaultly offers an optional App Lock feature for additional protection.
• If iCloud sync is active, data in transit is encrypted by Apple.

9. Your Rights

Since we do not collect or store any of your data on our servers, there is no personal data for us to access, modify, export, or delete. You have full control over your data directly on your device.

• To export your data: use the Export feature within the App (Pro).
• To delete all data: use Settings → Delete All Data, or simply delete the App.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
