Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using Vaultly ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, do not use the App.

2. Description of Service

Vaultly is a personal finance tracker that allows you to manually record accounts, transactions, budgets, goals, insurance policies, and other financial information. The App stores all data locally on your device, with optional iCloud sync for Pro subscribers.

3. Not Financial Advice

Vaultly is a tracking and organizational tool only. Nothing in the App constitutes financial, investment, tax, legal, or accounting advice. The App does not:

• Provide investment recommendations or financial planning.
• Connect to banks or financial institutions.
• Verify the accuracy of data you enter.
• Make financial decisions on your behalf.

You should consult a qualified financial professional for financial advice. The Developer is not responsible for any financial decisions you make based on information displayed in the App.

4. User Responsibilities

You are solely responsible for:

• The accuracy of all data you enter into the App.
• Maintaining backups of your data (via iCloud or the Export feature).
• Securing access to your device and the App.
• Complying with applicable laws in your jurisdiction.

5. Subscriptions & Billing

5.1 Free Tier

Vaultly offers a free tier with limited features (2 accounts, 5 transactions, 1 goal). No payment is required for the free tier.

5.2 Vaultly Pro

Vaultly Pro is available as an auto-renewable subscription with the following options:

• Monthly — billed every month.
• Yearly — billed once per year at a discounted rate.

5.3 Billing

• All payments are processed by Apple through your Apple ID account.
• Prices are displayed in your local currency in the App and on the App Store.
• Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period.
• Your Apple ID account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period.

5.4 Cancellation

• You can cancel your subscription at any time through your device's Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions.
• Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. You retain access to Pro features until then.
• No partial refunds are provided for unused portions of a subscription period.

5.5 Refunds

Refund requests must be directed to Apple, as all billing is handled by Apple. Visit reportaproblem.apple.com to request a refund.

6. Intellectual Property

The App, including its design, code, graphics, icons, and content, is the intellectual property of Amandeep Singh Chhatwal and is protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. You may not:

• Copy, modify, or distribute the App or its components.
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App.
• Use the App's name, logo, or branding without written permission.

7. Your Data

You retain full ownership of all data you enter into Vaultly. The Developer does not access, collect, or store your data. See our Privacy Policy for details.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

The App is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to:

• Merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose.
• Accuracy or reliability of calculations, reports, or insights.
• Uninterrupted or error-free operation.
• Compatibility with future iOS versions.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the Developer shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to:

• Loss of data or financial records.
• Financial losses resulting from reliance on the App.
• Inability to access the App or its features.
• Errors in calculations or displayed information.

In no event shall the Developer's total liability exceed the amount you paid for the App in the 12 months preceding the claim.

10. Termination

You may stop using the App at any time by deleting it from your device. The Developer reserves the right to discontinue the App or any of its features at any time, with reasonable notice where possible.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

12. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India, without regard to conflict of law principles.
